Patch 26.6 — Shyvana Rework, Ahri Nerfed, Olaf Buffed
Patch 26.6 is headlined by the long-awaited Shyvana visual and gameplay update. Ahri gets nerfed after overperforming, Olaf gets Q and base stat buffs, and Azir sees significant damage increases.
Patch 26.6 dropped March 18th, 2026. The big story is the Shyvana rework — a full visual, gameplay, and voice-over update that overhauled her kit into a scaling fury-based bruiser. Riot also nerfs Ahri, who overperformed after 26.5 buffs, and gives Olaf a meaningful Q upgrade.
Shyvana Rework
Shyvana received a complete gameplay update. Her new kit is built around the Scalemail passive — permanently gaining Armor and Magic Resist by taking down champions, large minions, and monsters. Fury now powers Dragon Form, which upgrades all abilities and grants bonus health and attack range. She was immediately nerfed in the same patch after being too strong at launch.
Buffs
Q — Undertow: base damage increased from 60/110/160/210/260 to 70/120/170/220/270. Slow amount improved. Base attack speed up from 0.694 to 0.72.
Q AP ratio now scales per rank. W — Arise!: damage and AP ratio both increased at all ranks.
Q — Ice Shard: cooldown reduced from 8/7/6/5/4s to 7/6/5/4/3s.
Q mana cost reduced from 45 to 30. Third-hit max health damage increased from 9% to 11%.
Attack Speed Ratio increased from 0.694 to 0.725.
Nerfs
Q — Orb of Deception: damage per pass reduced from 40/65/90/115/140 to 35/60/85/110/135. Correction after overperformance in 26.5.
Base armor reduced from 43 to 37.
Q — Twilight Assault: monster damage cap reduced at early ranks. Targets jungle Shen.
W and E both reduced in damage and monster damage. Early nerf for the newest champion.
Patch 26.7 followed on April 1st. Full notes in the next post.
